Fine Art Sessions

Sample Gallery 1: Full Experience

Create a large variety of stunning fine art pieces of your horse with the Full Experience Fine Art Session. During this session we can let the creative juices flow and play with both close up detail shots as well as wide angle poses to show off every unique and beautiful aspect of your horse.

Sample 2: Mini Fine Art Session

One classic head shot of your animal to turn into beautiful wall art for your home. Mini Sessions can also be arranged for dogs!

“Kate photographed my lovely mare Rosie. She has such a way with horses and the photos are beautiful. The voucher for Kate was a fantastic present as the photos are incredible!”

A taste of what else can be achieved in fine art sessions…

So, what do you need in order to do a Fine Art Session?

  1. A somewhat cooperative animal (food, props & noises are great for encouraging poses and getting their attention!)

  2. A shed with a wide entrance and which is dark inside: My favourite way to take Fine Art portraits is in the entrance to a shed/stable block/indoor arena. The animal stands in the the doorway facing outwards. This way, the indoor area behind the animal creates a naturally darkened background and the outdoor natural light brightens up the animals face. Doing this makes it much much easier to blackout the background and make the image look naturally shadowy!
